Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fuel injector shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical 3.5L.

    2. Object Number: 296181 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose from the intake manifold.

    3. Object Number: 282846 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose from vacuum brake booster check valve.
  4. Remove the vacuum brake booster check valve from the vacuum brake booster.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 282846 Size: SH
  1. Install the vacuum brake booster check valve to the vacuum brake booster
  2. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose to vacuum brake booster check valve.

    3. Object Number: 296181 Size: SH
  3. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose to the intake manifold until fully seated with the arrow on top.
  4. Install the fuel injector shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical 3.5L.
