Before any frame or underbody repairs begin, you should inspect the frame and underbody. Check the floor pan for obvious deterioration. Check for loose dirt or rust around the inside of the floor pan reinforcement member access holes. This is the first indication that corrosion may exists in hidden areas and repairs may be required before the final cleaning and protective treatment is applied.
