Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Pull back the left rear compartment trim panel.
  3. Open fuel filler door.

    4. Object Number: 183175 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fuel filler door actuator cable to fuel filler pocket nut.
  5. Remove the fuel filler door actuator cable from the fuel filler pocket.

    6. Object Number: 183195 Size: SH
  6. Remove the fuel filler door actuator cable from the wheelhouse access hole.
  7. Remove the fuel filler door actuator bracket to wheelhouse bolt.
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel filler door actuator.
  9. Remove the fuel filler door actuator cable from the fuel filler door actuator.
  10. Remove the fuel filler door actuator from the fuel filler door actuator bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 183195 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel filler door actuator cable to the fuel filler door actuator.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel filler door actuator.
  3. Position the fuel filler door actuator tabs through the holes in the fuel filler door actuator bracket located on wheelhouse.
  4. Install the fuel filler door actuator to fuel filler door actuator bracket bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel filler door actuator to fuel filler door actuator bracket bolt to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Insert the fuel filler door actuator cable through wheelhouse access hole and fuel filler pocket.

    6. Apply pressure until the grommet is fully seated.

  6. Install the fuel filler door actuator cable to fuel filler pocket nut.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel filler door actuator to fuel filler pocket nut to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Close the fuel filler door.
  8. Reposition the left rear compartment trim panel.
  9. Close the rear compartment lid.
