Removal Procedure
- Carefully push the mirror face of the outside rearview mirror at the inner edge, near the front door window glass, to expose the connector on the glass back.
- Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the mirror face from the plastic clips.
- Remove the mirror case from the outside rearview mirror housing and disconnect the heater wire, if equipped.
Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.
Installation Procedure
- Align the mirror face to the outside rearview mirror housing and connect the heater wire, if equipped.
- Apply pressure to the mirror face until fully seated.
