Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 863182 Size: SH
  1. Remove the shifter knob clip (3).
  2. Remove the shifter knob (1) from the shift control (2).

    3. Object Number: 182780 Size: SH
  3. Open the floor console, release the cup holder and remove the shifter plate screws.
  4. Remove the shifter plate and disconnect the traction control electrical connector if equipped.

    5. Object Number: 863178 Size: SH
  5. Remove the shift indicator screws (1).
  6. Remove the PRNDL lamp from the shift indicator and the shift indicator (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 863178 Size: SH
  1. Install the PRNDL lamp to the shift indicator and install the shift indicator (2).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the shift indicator screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m(17 lb in).

  3. Connect the traction control electrical connector if equipped and install the shifter plate.
  4. Install the shifter plate screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m(17 lb in).

  5. Close the floor console and return the cup holder to the original position.

  6. Install the shifter knob (1) to the shift control (2).
  7. Install the shifter knob clip (3).
