Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Verify the ENGINE OIL PRESSURE message is always on.

Does the system operate properly?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Ignition switch ON engine OFF.
2. Connect a scan tool.
3. Using the Displays(s) Test, command the Instrument Cluster ON .
4. Command the Instrument Cluster OFF.

Does the LOW Oil pressure Indicator remain illuminated?

Go to Step 4

Go to Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Engine Controls - 3.5L

Replace the instrument panel cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 5

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
