Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 182625 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screws from the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  2. Remove the Steering Column Filler Panel . Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
  3. Pull out instrument panel cluster trim plate to release from retainers.
  4. Remove the trip odometer and reset switch from the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Trip Odometer Reset Switch Replacement .
  5. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the trip odometer and reset switch to the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Trip Odometer Reset Switch Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 182625 Size: SH
  2. Align the instrument panel cluster trim plate to the instrument panel retainers.
  3. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.

    4. Press into place until fully seated.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the screws to the instrument panel cluster trim plate.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the instrument panel cluster trim plate bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the Steering Column Filler Panel. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
