Was the Lighting Diagnostic Systems Check performed?

Go to Step 2

  1. Turn on the ignition.
  2. Turn the headlamp switch to the park position.

Do all of the park lamps turn on?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Go to Step 3

Inspect the Front Park Lamp fuse.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 4

Repair a short to ground in the front park lamp B+ feed. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Using a test lamp connected to a known good ground, backprobe the front park lamps B+ feed at the underhood accessory wiring junction block.

Did the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair a poor connection or an open in the front park lamps B+ feed circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Repair a open the ground circuit of the front park lamp circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repairs.

Did you correct the condition?
