1. Illuminated entry lights (if equipped) 2. Door locks (all doors or just driver's) 3. Luggage Compartment Lid Release

Illuminated Entry

Pushing the Unlock Button twice results in the Keyless Entry Module activating its output at terminal C1/D. This energizes the Unlock Relay in the Door Lock Relay Assembly and unlocks the RH front and/or rear doors (if equipped with 4 door).

The LH Front Door Lock Motor is driven directly by the Keyless Entry Module.

Pressing the Transmitter Lock Button results in the Keyless Entry Module activating its output at connector C1 terminal E. This energizes the Lock Relay in the Door Lock Relay Assembly and locks the doors. The LH front door is grounded through the Keyless Entry Module when locking.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
