MODELS/YEARS 1989-90 CUTLASS CALAIS AND CUTLASS CIERA MODELS

When measuring the crankshaft main bearing clearance or end play on the 2.5L engine, use the following specifications:

VIN R (Cutlass Ciera)

Crankshaft Main Bearing Clearance 0.013 - 0.056 mm (0.0005 - 0.0022")

Crankshaft End Play 0.13 - 0.26 mm (0.0051 - 0.01 O")

VIN U (Cutlass Calais)

Crankshaft Main Bearing Clearance 0.013 - 0.056 mm (0.0005 - 0.0022")

Crankshaft End Play 0.15 - 0.28 mm (0. 0059 - 0. 01 1
