SUBJECT: LOOSE COMPACT DISC/CASSETTE STORAGE BIN LID (INSTALL REDESIGNED BIN)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991-92 "T" TRUCK

APPLICATION:

----------- 1991-92 Oldsmobile Bravadas (T-Truck)

CONDITION:

--------- Some 1991-92 Oldsmobile Bravadas may exhibit a loose Compact Disc/Cassette storage lid when in the closed position. In addition, the latch may not engage properly.

CAUSE:

----- This condition is caused by excessive clearance allowing upward movement of the latch striker.

CORRECTION:

---------- This condition was corrected in production beginning with VIN P2700020. To correct this condition on 1991-92 Bravadas the Compact Disc/Cassette bin must be replaced with a redesigned bin (P/N 15637630). Follow bin replacement procedures described in the Bravada Service Manual.
