LOOSE COMPACT DISC/CASSETTE STORAGE BIN LID

SUBJECT: LOOSE COMPACT DISC/CASSETTE STORAGE BIN LID - INSTALL REDESIGNED BIN

MODELS/YEARS: 1991-92 BRAVADA

CONDITION: Some 1991-92 Bravadas may exhibit a loose compact disc/cassette storage lid when in the closed position. In addition, the latch may not engage properly.

CAUSE: This condition is caused by excessive clearance allowing upward movement of the latch striker.

CORRECTION: This condition was corrected in production beginning with VIN P2700020. To correct this condition on 1991-92 Bravadas the compact disc/cassette bin must be replaced with a redesigned bin (P/N 15637630).

Follow bin replacement procedures described in the Bravada Service Manual.
