800 PHONE NUMBER FOR QUALITY CONCERNS ON NEW 4 DOOR TRUCKS

SUBJECT: 800 PHONE NUMBER FOR DEALERS TO REPORT ON ANY QUALITY CONCERNS WITH THE NEW 1991 BRAVADA

MODELS/YEARS: 1991 BRAVADA

NEW 800 TOLL FREE NUMBER: 1-800-848-3134

A successful launch of the Bravada is important to all of us. To enhance our opportunity to successfully launch this vehicle, as well as monitor its quality as received by the dealer, an early quality feedback system has been established in the form of a toll-free 800 number listed above. This number will be in effect from October 1, 1990 through January 1, 1991 only. Dealerships are encouraged to use the 800 number as early as your pre-delivery inspection to report any concern observed or experienced with this vehicle. Our goal is to uncover ALL concerns, whether they are parts, assembly, or engineering, and to produce a "World Class" vehicle.

The phone will be manned from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. The remainder of the time, an answering machine will take the information.

This number is for DEALERS ONLY. Your zone dealer code number will be required at the time of the call. Also, this number is for the NEW BRAVADA ONLY.

At the time of your call, we ask that the dealership have a completed repair order on hand, as well as the following information:

- Dealer code - Dealer name - Contact person - Phone number - Labor Operation, a description of the condition, and how it was corrected.

The 800 number is intended to gather valuable information that will enable us to quickly identify and correct those concerns which may ultimately affect your customer's satisfaction with the new Bravada. The number is NOT intended to provide parts assistance or repair information. Problems encountered in those areas should continue to be pursued through normal channels such as the Technical Assistance System or your assigned District Manager - Service.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
