The primary (1) and optional (2) location of the VIN derivative for the 3400 LA1 engine is on the lower left front transaxle mounting surface.
The primary location (1) of the Engine ID for the 3400 LA1 engine is on the top RH rocker arm cover or front of RH oil pan rail.
2400 VIN T Engine ID Location
The location of the Engine ID and VIN Derivative (1) for the 2400 LD9 engine is on top of the timing chain cover.
