J 42450-A Hub Cleaning Kit

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
3. Remove the caliper bracket. Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement .
4. Remove the brake rotor (1).



5. Using the J 42450-A clean the metal contact surfaces between the brake rotor and the hub bearing flange.

1. Install the brake rotor (1).
2. Install the caliper bracket. Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement .
3. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
4. Lower the vehicle.
