    • Outside Rear View Mirror Switch
    • LH Door Lock and Side Window Switch
    • RH Door Lock and Side Window Switch
    • IP Ashtray Lamp

Are any or all of the above lamps inoperative?

Test CKT 2409 (BRN) for an open, high resistance and short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Was a problem found?

Repair the open, high resistance or short to ground in CKT 2409 (BRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the inoperative component or lamp.

With the Park Lamps ON, turn the rheostat from low to high and use a test lamp to ground to check for voltage at the ILLUM fuse 12 in the IP Fuse Block. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate from dim to bright at one or more of the fuse test points?

Test CKT 1220 (GRY) for a short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1220 (GRY). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Test for an open or high resistance in CKT 1220 (GRY) and the ground circuit to the inoperative component or lamp. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
