1. Remove the inner axle shaft. Refer to Inner Axle Housing Shaft and Housing Replacement .



2. Remove the shift cable housing seal (1). Drive the seal out of the axle housing to carrier flange using a punch.

1. Install the shift cable housing seal using the J 33799 .
2. Install the inner axle shaft. Refer to Inner Axle Housing Shaft and Housing Replacement .
