The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When ever there is a need to replace any component of a passenger air bag sensing system, it is mandatory that all components received in the service kit be replaced as a matched set.

If only a portion of the kit is replaced, i.e. electronic module, the calibration of the sensing system could be affected. All components are calibrated as matched sets.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
