Admin Message - 2006 HUMMER H3 Grille Tape Residue

HUMMER H3 grilles are being returned to the Warranty Parts Center indicating that the chrome is tarnished and the markings are found to be protective tape residue. After removing the protective tape during PDI, wipe any remaining residue clean using GM Tar and Oil Remover. Also, some grilled have no visual manufacturing defect. Be sure to mark on the grille the reason for its replacement with a paint pen or tape to avoid potential charge-back.
