Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .
2. Remove the bolt securing the pencil brace bracket to the rear edge of the headlamp assembly.
3. Gently move the fender pencil brace away from the headlamp composite which is being serviced.

Headlamp Assembly Bolt (Qty: 3)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Tip
Support the headlamp assembly when removing the bolts.

Headlamp Support Bracket Bolt

Tighten
5 N·m (44 lb in)

Tip

1. Rotate the bracket upward to allow access to remove headlamp assembly.
2. Rotate the outer edge of the headlamp outward in order to remove the lamp assembly from the support.

Headlamp Assembly

Tip

1. Remove the bulbs from the headlamp assembly.
2. Pull the headlamp assembly forward to remove.
3. Align the headlamp assembly when removed. Refer to Headlamp Aiming.
