Service VME - Roof Rail End Cap Seal Loose or Fell Off - keywords accessory body cover luggage rack

The PI was revised at the request of Brand Quality due to the end caps now being available. Please discard PIT3701.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

The roof rack side rail rear endcap seals may come loose or fall out on some vehicles. Replacement end caps are now available to correct this condition without having to replace the entire side rail. Refer to bulletin #06-08-67-005 for additional information.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
