Service VME - HVAC Orifice Tube Inspection - keywords AC cold cool inoperative noise orifice performance poor

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

An issue that was recognized on the 2003-2004 H2 where some vehicles had the HVAC orifice tube installed backwards has long since been corrected. This condition does not exist on the 2005-2006 models however we continue to receive warranty claims. When diagnosing an HVAC complaint, the orifice tube is not one of the items that need to be checked on a 2005 or 2006 model.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
