SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE - AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE (SECTION 7A)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 SPECTRUM SERVICE MANUAL (ST371-87) -----------------

In the 1987 Spectrum Service Manual step #6 in the procedure for reassembly of the front and rear clutch is shown in error. Pages 7A-22 and 7A-24 should be corrected to read as shown below:

6. Install the dished plate in the clutch hub with the convex side facing the piston.
