FRONT LICENSE PLATE INSTALLATION

Model and Year: 1989-90 S CAR

This bulletin provides Dealer Technicians the procedure for installing the front license plate on 1989/90 GEO Prizms.

Because many states do not require front license plates, 1989/90 GEO Prizms which arrive at your dealership will not be equipped with a front license plate mounting provision. Front license plates can be installed, however, by drilling a 15/32 hole into each of the 2 dimples in the front fascia. After drilling, insert a standard license plate nut into each of the holes and attach the license plate with two screws.
