Component Name

•	Using the J 7079-2 , remove the bearings from the front case half.

•	Ensure the bearings are installed squarely into the bearing bores.

Transfer Case Shift Detent Lever Bearing - Inner

Tip

•	Ensure the printing on the bearing is facing upward.

•	Install the bearing using the long side of the DT-48215 .

•	Press the bearing until the tool bottoms on the front case half.

Tip

•	Ensure the printing on the bearing is facing upward.
