  1. Place the ignition switch in RUN.
  2. Disconnect connector C1 at the radio.
  3. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between radio connector C1 cavity 9 for CKT 43 (YEL) and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between radio connector C1 cavity 10 for CKT 1140 (ORN) and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between radio connector C1 cavity 5 for CKT 150 (BLK) and ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 43 (YEL) between the IP fuse block and the radio. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1140 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and the radio. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Remove the radio and send it in for repair. Refer to Radio Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the radio and ground G201. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
