  1. Disconnect the power antenna assembly connector.
  2. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the power antenna assembly connector, pin A for CKT 1140 (ORN) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Connect an J 39200 digital multimeter between the power antenna assembly connector, pin C for CKT 150 (BLK) and ground.

Is continuity present?

  1. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the power antenna assembly connector, pin B for CKT 314 (PNK) and ground.
  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  3. Turn ON the radio.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Turn OFF the radio.
  2. Disconnect the radio C1 connector.
  3. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between radio C1 connector, cavity 8 for CKT 314 (PNK) and ground.

Is continuity present?

Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the radio C1 connector, cavity 8 and power antenna assembly connector, pin B for CKT 314 (PNK).

Is continuity present?

Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the radio C1 connector, cavity 10 for CKT 1140 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Reconnect the power antenna assembly connector.
  2. Connect a J 36169-A fused jumper wire between radio C1 connector, cavities 10 and 8.

Does the power antenna assembly raise?

Repair the open in CKT 1140 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and the power antenna assembly connector. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the power assembly connector and ground G201. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the short to ground in CKT 314 (PNK) between the radio C1 connector and the power antenna assembly. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 314 (PNK) between the radio C1 connector and the power antenna assembly connector. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
