Does the system operate normally?

  1. Disconnect the power window switch.
  2. Place the headlamp switch in the park lamps position.
  3. At the window switch connector, measure the voltage at the illumination input wire (BRN).

Is the measurement equal to battery voltage?

Repair the open CKT 9 (BRN) between the headlamp switch and the window switch.

Did you complete the repair?

At the window switch connector, test for continuity between ground and the ground circuit wire (BLK).

Does the test indicate continuity?

Repair the open CKT 150 (BLK) between the window switch and ground.

Replace the window switch.
