  1. Remove the inoperative stoplamp bulb.
  2. Visually and physically inspect the stoplamp bulb.

Is the bulb okay?

Replace the defective stoplamp bulb.

Test for continuity between ground and terminal G of the stoplamp bulb socket.

Did the test indicate continuity?

Repair the open circuit (BLK) between the taillamp connector and ground.
