Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 334098 Size: SH
  1. Remove the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the right side rear door extension. Refer to Rear Door Outer Extension Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the right side rear door inside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  4. Remove the right side rear door outside handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  5. Remove the right side rear door wiring harness from the door. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  6. Remove the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window (if needed). Refer to Hinged Rear Window Replacement or Rear Side Door Window Replacement in Windows.
  7. Remove the right side rear door weatherstrips (if needed). Refer to Front and Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement .
  8. Remove the right side rear door rear lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  9. Remove the right side rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  10. Remove the bolts that retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
  11. Remove the right side rear door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 334098 Size: SH
  1. Install the right side rear door to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolts in order to retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the right side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  4. Install the right side rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  5. Install the right side rear door weatherstrips (if needed). Refer to Front and Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement .
  6. Install the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window (if needed). Refer to Hinged Rear Window Replacement or Rear Side Door Window Replacement in Windows.
  7. Install the right side rear door wiring harness to the door. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  8. Install the right side rear door outside handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  9. Install the right side rear door inside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  10. Install the right side rear door extension. Refer to Rear Door Outer Extension Panel Replacement .
  11. Install the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
