Rear Door Latch Striker Replacement Upper

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 334083  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door opening frame garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the bolts (3) that retain the rear door upper striker (2) to the door opening.
  3. Remove the rear door upper striker (2) from the door opening.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear door upper striker (2) to the door opening.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts (3) in order to retain the rear door upper striker (3) to the door opening.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the rear door opening frame garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.

Rear Door Latch Striker Replacement Lower

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 334090  Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the rear door lower striker (1) to the floor panel.
  2. Remove the rear door lower striker (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 334090  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear door lower striker (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
