Does the rear power door lock switch perform only the unlock operation?

  1. Disconnect the rear power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 between pin D, and pin B of the rear power door lock switch.
  3. Depress the rear power door lock switch to perform the lock operation.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 7

Does the rear power door lock switch perform only the lock operation?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

  1. Disconnect the rear power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 between pin D, and pin E of the rear power door lock switch.
  3. Depress the rear power door lock switch to perform the unlock operation.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 9

  1. Disconnect the rear power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between rear power door lock switch connector, cavity D for CKT 540 (ORN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

Repair the open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between splice S241 and the rear power door lock switch.

Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Is the repair complete?

Replace the rear power door lock switch.

Refer to Door Lock Switch Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 194 (WHT) between splice S242 and the rear power door lock switch.

Refer to Wiring Repairs .
