Up and Down Adjustment
- Remove the sliding side door upper roller cover. Refer to
Rear Side Door Upper Roller Bracket Garnish Molding Replacement
.
- Remove the sliding side door lower roller cover.
- Loosen the bolts that retain the upper front roller to the door.
- Loosen the bolts that retain the lower front roller to the door.
- Loosen the nuts that retain the rear roller to the door.
- Adjust the door up or down until you obtain the desired position.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Tighten the nuts
that retain the rear roller to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Tighten the bolts that retain the upper front roller to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Tighten the bolts that retain the lower front roller to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Install the sliding side door lower roller cover.
- Install the sliding side door upper roller cover. Refer to
Rear Side Door Upper Roller Bracket Garnish Molding Replacement
.
In and Out Adjustment
- Remove the sliding side door upper roller cover. Refer to
Rear Side Door Upper Roller Bracket Garnish Molding Replacement
.
- Remove the sliding side door lower roller cover.
- Loosen the bolts that retain the upper front roller to the bracket.
- Loosen the bolts that retain the lower front roller to the bracket.
- Adjust the door in or out until you obtain the desired position.
