Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 333886 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screws (4) that retain the side front door assist handle (3) to the door.
  2. Remove the inside handle bezel. Refer to Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement .
  3. Remove the side front door trim plate. Refer to Door Trim Plate Replacement .

    4. Important: Do not break the upper trim panel.

  4. Gently pull out the trim panel at the top of the window opening. Using a long, narrow screwdiver, pry the retaining clips apart in order to disengage the clips.
  5. Lift the side front door trim panel (1) up.
  6. Remove the side front door trim panel (1) from the door.
  7. Remove the side front door trim panel (1) from the vehicle.
  8. Inspect the side front door trim panel (1) for broken or missing retaining clips (2). Replace any retaining clips as needed.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 333886 Size: SH
  1. Align the retaining tabs (2) on the side front door trim panel (1) with the slots on the door. Lower the side front door trim panel (1) into place.
  2. Press on the top of the side front door trim panel (1) in order to engage the retaining clips (2).
  3. Install the side front door trim plate. Refer to Door Trim Plate Replacement .
  4. Install the inside handle bezel. Refer to Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement .
  5. Install the side front door assist handle (3) to the door.
  6. Install the screws (4) in order to retain the side front door assist handle (3) to the door.
