Remove the horn relay from the socket.

Do the horns continue to sound?

Go to Step 4

Repair the short to voltage in CKT 29 (DK GRN) between the horn relay and the horns.

Do the horns continue to sound?

Go to Horns System Check

1. Disconnect the connector at the horn switch.
2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the horn relay socket cavity D9 and cavity D7.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the short to ground in CKT 28 (BLK) between the horn relay and the horn switch.

Do the horns continue to sound?

Go to Step 6

Go to Horns System Check

Connect the horn relay back into the socket.

Does the horn continue to sound?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Replace the horn relay.

Do the horns continue to sound?

--

Go to Horns System Check

Replace the horn switch.

Do the horns continue to sound?
