  2. Observe the temperature gauge indication.

Is the temperature gauge indication greater than the specified value?

118.3°C (245°F)

Is the check gauges indicator lamp still always illuminated?

  1. Start the engine.
  2. Observe the oil pressure gauge indication.

Does the oil pressure gauge indicate pressure less than the specified value?

34.5 kPa (5 psi)

Does the oil pressure gauge indicate low oil pressure (5 psi) or less?
