Was the Radio/Audio System Check performed?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

1. Disconnect the radio C3 connector .
2. Disconnect the connector at the remote compact disc player.
3. Use a digital multimeter J 39200 in order to inspect for a short to ground on each of the harness wires.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Use a J 39200 in order to inspect for an open in each of the harness wires between the radio connector and the remote compact disc player connector.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the short to ground on the wires between the radio and the compact disc player.

Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

--

1. Remove the remote compact disc player.

Refer to Remote Compact Disc Player Replacement .

2. Send the player in for repair.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

--

Repair the open in the wires between the radio connector and the remote compact disc player connector.

Refer to Wiring Repairs .
