Was the Exterior Lights System Check performed?

  1. Remove the bulb from the left rear park and turn signal lamp connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the left rear park and turn signal lamp connector, cavity G for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left rear park and turn signal lamp connector and ground G400.

Is the left rear park and turn signal lamp operative?

--

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Go to Step 4

  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Place the turn signal switch in the left turn position.
  3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the left rear park and turn signal lamp connector, cavity A for CKT 14 (LT BLU), and ground.
  4. Place the headlamp switch in the park lamps position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the left rear park and turn signal lamp bulb.

Is the left rear park and turn signal lamp operative?

Repair the open in CKT 14 (LT BLU) between splice S236 and the left rear park and turn signal lamp connector.

Is the left rear park and turn signal lamp operative?

  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the left rear turn signal lamp connector cavity G for CKT 150 (BLK) and ground.

Is continuity present?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the following components:

  1. The left rear turn signal lamp connector
  2. Ground G400

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Place the turn signal switch in the left turn position.
  3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the left rear turn signal lamp connector cavity A for CKT 14 (LT BLU) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 14 (LT BLU) between the following components:

    • Splice S236
    • The left rear turn signal lamp
