  1. Disconnect the connector at the headlamp switch.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the headlamp switch connector cavity H for CKT 240 (ORN) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 3

  1. Remove the bulb from the left front side marker lamp.
  2. Connect a J 39200 between the LF side marker lamp cavity A for CKT 9 (BRN) and the headlamp switch connector cavity S.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in CKT 240 (BRN) between the IP fuse block and the headlamp switch.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the headlamp switch.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 9 (BRN) between the headlamp switch and S225.

  1. Disconnect the connector at the headlamp switch.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the headlamp switch connector cavity H for CKT 240 (ORN) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Remove the bulb from the left front side marker lamp.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the headlamp switch connector cavity S and the left front side marker lamp connector cavity A for CKT 9 (BRN).

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 240 (BRN) between the IP fuse block and the headlamp switch.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the headlamp switch.
