1. Disconnect the connector at the left high beam composite headlamp.
2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the left high beam composite headlamp connector, cavity B for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left high beam composite headlamp and ground G108.

Is the left high beam headlamp operative?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

Go to Step 4

1. Place the headlamp switch in the headlamp position.
2. Select high beam on the headlamp dimmer switch.
3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the left high beam composite headlamp connector, cavity A for CKT 11 (LT GRN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Is the filament of the left high beam headlamp open?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the left high beam headlamp.

Is the left high beam headlamp operative?

Go to Headlight System Check

Go to Step 7

Replace the left low beam composite headlamp socket assembly.

Is the left low beam headlamp operative?

Go to Headlight System Check

Go to Step 8

Repair the open in CKT 11 (LT GRN) between splice S144 and the left low beam composite headlamp.

Is the left low beam headlamp operative?
