For 1990-2009 cars only
- Disconnect the cruise control cable at the module and the throttle lever.
- Ensure that the cruise control cable freely moves in and out of the cable casing without binding.
- Replace any sticking or binding cables. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
- Replace any cable that contains an adjuster lock that does not hold under normal operating conditions.
