Removal Procedure
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
- Remove the quick disconnect from the concentric slave cylinder.

- Remove the transmission.
- Remove the bolts which are securing the concentric slave cylinder
to the clutch housing shaft.
- Remove the slave cylinder from the transmission input shaft.
- Remove the bearing from the slave cylinder.
Installation Procedure
- Install the bearing to
the slave cylinder.
- Install the slave cylinder to the transmission input shaft ensuring
that the bleed screw and coupling are positioned through the transmission
opening.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the two
bolts which are securing the concentric slave cylinder to the clutch housing
shaft.
Tighten
Tighten the concentric slave cylinder bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
- Install the transmission.
- Install the quick disconnect to the concentric slave cylinder.

- Lower the vehicle.
