Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 712835 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 headlamp trim plate retaining nuts.
  4. Use a plastic flat bladed tool in order to release the retaining clips.
  5. Remove the headlamp trim plate from the instrument panel (I/P).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 712835 Size: SH
  1. Install the headlamp trim plate to the I/P, ensuring the retaining clips are fully seated.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 headlamp trim plate retaining screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  3. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement.
  4. Install the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side.
