Makes 🢒 GMC_Truck 🢒 2009 🢒 Envoy - 2WD 🢒 Body Systems 🢒 Vehicle Access 🢒 Rear Side Door Latch Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Close the window to the full up position.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 723032 Size: SH
  4. Remove the inside door handle lock rods from the latch.

    5. Object Number: 723031 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the outside handle lock rod from the outside handle.

    6. Object Number: 723033 Size: SH
  6. Remove the 3 fasteners that retain the latch to the door.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the latch.
  8. Remove the latch from the door.
  9. Remove the actuator from the latch. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the actuator to the latch. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 723033 Size: SH
  2. Position the latch to the door.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors to the latch.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the 3 fasteners that retain the latch to the door.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the outside handle lock rod to the outside handle.

    6. Object Number: 723032 Size: SH
  6. Install the inside door handle lock rod to the latch.
  7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  8. Install the door trim panel Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
