Condition
Some customers may comment that the paint on the right inboard side of the bumper fascia is scuffing.
Cause
The wire harness conduit may be rubbing on the inside of the rear fascia when lowing and raising the end gate as seen in illustration above.
Correction
| • | With a light rubbing compound, rub the area to remove the scuff. |
| • | If the scuff is too deep, it will be necessary to repair the damaged area. Refer to the GM Approved Refinish Materials Book (GM4901M-D-2004) or refinish per GM 4901 MD-2005 approved Refinish Material. This information is now on line at GMGOODWRENCH WEB SITE ONLY.
