Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1281053 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  3. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement In Seats.
  4. Remove the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  5. Remove the left and right rocker trim panels. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement or Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Remove the kick panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Remove the cover of the rear seat.
  8. Remove the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  9. Remove the floor carpet.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1281053 Size: SH
  1. Install the floor carpet.
  2. Install the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Install the cover of the rear seat.
  4. Install the kick panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the front and rear rocker trim panels. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement or Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Install the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  7. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  8. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
