Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1282097 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the radiator grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .
  3. Mark the position of the hood latch on the radiator support to facilitate alignment during installation.
  4. Remove the bolts and the hood latch.
  5. Disconnect the hood release cable.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1282097 Size: SH
  1. Connect the hood release cable.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the hood latch and the bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the hood latch bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Install the radiator grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .
