Front Side Door Jamb Switch Replacement 4 Door
Removal Procedure
- Open the front side door.
- Open the rubber cap in order to gain access to the door jamb switch
retaining screw.
- Remove the retaining screw which secures the door jamb switch
to the door jamb.
- Pull the door jamb switch forward in order to gain access to the
electrical connector.
- Disconnect the door jamb switch electrical connector.
- Remove the door jamb switch from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the door jamb switch electrical connector.
- Install the door jamb switch to the door jamb. Secure the switch
with the retaining screw.
- Close the rubber cap.
- Close the front side door.
Front Side Door Jamb Switch Replacement 2 Door
Removal Procedure
- Open the front side door.
- Open the rubber cap in order to gain access to the door jamb switch
retaining screw.
- Remove the screw which secures the door jamb switch to the door
jamb.
- Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel in order to access the
door jamb electrical connector. Refer to
Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement - 2 Door
in Interior Trim.
- Disconnect the door jamb switch electrical connector.
- Remove the door jamb switch from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the door jamb switch electrical connector.
- Install the door jamb switch to the door jamb. Secure the switch
with the retaining screw.
- Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to
Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement - 2 Door
in
Interior Trim.
- Close the rubber cap.
- Close the front side door.
