The folding top rear window is made of a very pliable plastic material which is easily scratched. Observe the following precautions in order to prevent damage to the rear window:

    • Use the following guidelines when wiping dust from the rear window:
       - Use a soft cotton cloth moistened with clean lukewarm or cold water.
       - Move the cloth in one direction without stopping.
       - Never use a dry cloth.
    • Use the following guidelines when removing frost, snow, or ice from the rear window:
       - Use lukewarm water.
       - Do not use a scraper or de-icing chemicals in order to remove ice from the rear window.
    • Use the following guidelines in order to wash the rear window:
       - Use lukewarm or cold water.
       - Do not use hot water or any detergents in order to wash the rear window.
       - Do not use solvents such as alcohol or harsh cleaning agents.
       - Rinse the rear window.
       - Wipe the window with a moistened clean soft cloth.
    • Use the following guidelines for stickers, tape, or gummed labels applied to the rear window:
       - Do not paste stickers, gummed labels, or apply tape to the rear windows.
       - Removing adhesives remains from labels, stickers, or tape from the rear window is very difficult.
       - Using solvents or forcibly removing adhesive may damage the rear window.
       - Use a repeated sticking-and-removing action with another new sticker or tape if the adhesive remains are soft.
