Voltage applies to the remote control mirror switch from the CIG fuse when the ignition switch is in the ACC position or in the ON position. The remote control mirror switch permanently grounds to G200.

Each power mirror has two reversible motors. One motor moves the mirror up and down. The other motor moves the mirror left and right. The switch controls the polarity of the voltage to the motors. The power mirror select switch directs voltage to either the right or the left outside mirrors.

With the power mirror select switch in the L position, depress the mirror switch to the up position. Battery voltage applies through the up contacts of the mirror switch to the up-down motor in the left outside mirror. The up-down motor grounds through the mirror switch to G200. The up-down motor continues to run and move the mirror until the switch is released or until the mirror reaches the maximum travel limit.

With the mirror switch in the down position, battery voltage applies through the down contacts of the mirror switch to the up-down motor in the left outside mirror. The up-down motor grounds through the mirror switch to G200. The up-down motor continues to run and move the mirror until the switch is released or until the mirror reaches the maximum travel limit.

The left-right motor operates in a similar manner. With the mirror select switch in the L position, depress the mirror switch to the left position. Battery voltage applies through the left contacts of the mirror switch to the left-right motor in the left outside mirror. The left-right motor grounds through the mirror switch to G200. The left-right motor continues to run and move the mirror until the switch is released or until the mirror reaches the maximum travel limit.

With the mirror switch in the right position, battery voltage applies through the right contacts of the mirror switch to the left-right motor in the left outside mirror. The left-right motor grounds through the mirror switch to G200. The left-right motor continues to run and move the mirror until the switch is released or until the mirror reaches the maximum travel limit.

The right outside mirror operates in the same way as the left outside mirror when the power mirror select switch is placed in the R position.
